Privacy

This page covers the Members' Pick vote at vote.barsandbarbells.com, run by Phil & Sam of the Bars & Barbells YouTube channel. Last updated October 2026.

What we collect

From Google sign-in: your name, email address and a Google account ID. Nothing from your YouTube account.
The member name you type, and whether you allow it to be shown in full.
The songs you submit, any note you send with them, and your votes.

How we use it

To run the vote: one entry and one ballot per person, and checking winners against our members list.
To show who submitted each song. Other members see your name as first name and last initial unless you chose to show it in full.
To credit winners on this page, in the video description and on screen in the video.
To email you about your own entries, for example if one is taken out or reviewed.

Only Phil & Sam see email addresses. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising. We never share your full legal name without your permission.

If you use the form on our Work with us page, we receive your name, company, email and message by email so we can reply. We don't add you to any list.

Where it's kept

The site runs on Vercel, the data is stored with Neon in the United States, and emails are sent through Resend. Google handles the sign-in.

Your choices

You can change your member name at any time on the vote page. To have your information deleted, email us at barsandbarbells2022@gmail.com.
